TDK Systems Europe and Nokia Launch PC Card Cellular Data Development Initiative
22nd January 1997 – Redhill, Surrey, England. TDK Systems’ European PC Card Division announces the signing of a licensing agreement with Nokia Mobile Phones of Finland. The agreement grants TDK a licence to develop PC Card communication products which are fully compatible with Nokia’s proprietary GSM handset data and fax interface.
